Baxter Dury - Happy Soup LP

Equal parts playful and melancholic, Baxter Dury crafts a uniquely British world where wit and vulnerability share the same barstool. Released in 2011, Happy Soup is the critically acclaimed third album by English singer songwriter Baxter Dury, featuring what he famously described as a sound of "seaside psychedelia". The record pairs Dury's droll, spoken-word observations and deadpan delivery with breezy, minimalist indie-pop arrangements and sweet backing vocals from singer Madelaine Hart.
